A Visual Feast

At Washington’s National Gallery of Art, ”Arcimboldo, 1526 – 1593: Nature and Fantasy,” is an adventurous look at what can happen when we play with our food. Or at least, what happened in 16th-century Milan in or around the kitchen of artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo. The 16 examples of his raw talent are on view through January 9.
